Hailing from Peelander Planet, Kengoswee (vocals/guitar), Antonio Kazuki (drums) and K.O. (bass/vocals) have been taking NYC by storm since 1998, spreading the message of "Don't Think! FEEL!" in their yellow, blue and red skins. These panda punks are infamous around the Big Apple and the rest of the U.S. for their samurai skills and crazy rock'n'roll antics (imagine The Ramones crashing into Voltron), including audience participation in their live set. If you haven't been to a Peelander-Z show, you are sorely missing out on a super fun time. Don't be shy! They won't bite! Heck, they've even been asked to perform on Comedy Central's "Upright Citizen's Brigade" and the past few SXSW Festivals! Though they are not Japanese, but Peelander-ese, the strange creatures have also helped organize and promote the annual Japunks Panic Jamboree at CBGB's. In November 2000, Peelander-Z released a split 7" with Cali's four letter words. The first 300 slabs of this limited-edition masterpiece were on clear cherry red vinyl. Where is your copy? Since then, they've made this planet we call Earth a much happier place by starring in some very cool music videos for songs like "Panda Punk" and "S.T.E.A.K." (featured on an episde of Spike TV's "Most Extreme Challenge"). Go to their website to watch them! Go right now! You will kiss our feet for showing you! There is no excuse for not seeing Peelander-Z live! They have toured the entire U.S. and parts of glorious Canada in the official van of Eat Rice Records. Where were you? Bored at home watching Empty-Vee? So sad. Don't let it happen again. DOWNLOAD MUSIC VIDEO:
