Fleshies, a political rock-n-roll five-some from Oakland, CA, might be considered unpredictable in that they will answer the same interview questions with different responses depending on which magazine you're calling from, but they can always be counted on to out-rock any of your favorite (fill-in-the-blank) bands on the planet!! And if you have not seen Fleshies (no "the" – just Fleshies) play live yet, shame on you. They have been touring for months at a time since spring 2000. We suppose that can be excused, but if you don't have any of their many releases, you will need to seek professional help. The band already has over five split 7"s with bands like Toys That Kill, Victims Family and The Phantom Limbs, and has contributed to tons of compilations on Adeline, Alternative Tentacles, AK Press and good ol’ GC.
